Historical Landmark

In the site, I have created a wooden landmark to replace the grassland. The total height of the piece is about 4 to 4.5m, and the lowest frame allows people to pass through. The frames are shaping into a smooth flow gap roof. The sense of it would be going through the time tunnel. There are metal boards on the bottom of the frames, which gives the introduction and the sense of historical events of the year that every single tree was planted. There is an empty space in front of the landmark, so I put a fountain so people can sit there. I also create seats between trees, so people can rest over there. The other perspective is the daylight and shadow. The sunlight passes though the wood frames, which may form rings, just like the annual rings of trees. Those phenomenon reflect to both social and aesthetic values.
