Cole Quist and Reuben King: Reclaimed Earth

In order to reclaim the nature-centric lives they left behind, future generations will turn towards making refuge from their own refuse. They will repurpose massive heaps of discarded plastic into architecturally-interesting homes built via 3D printing. The printing process allows families to creatively design their own homes, with only the limit of their imagination. This practice will bring families closer to their environments, save landfill space, preserve marine and terrestrial ecosystems, and solve housing crises! Destructive mining and logging practices will not even be necessary to provide new building materials. In keeping with the theme of a return to the Earth, families will grow their own produce through a drone-operated planting service, which in the morning sows genetically-modified seeds that can ripen in one day. Healthy and sustainable living is right around the corner!
