Acequia. Parkitecture

A park that use rainwater to irrigate vegetation during sunny days while providing a refreshing experience on campus. This project engages ecological, by using collected rainwater to irrigate trees and plants, and aesthetic sustainability, by doing it in a way that it is refreshing and good looking for the people walking around. The flow of the water goes alongside the main walking corridors most used by pedestrians in this area. The flow ends in a fountain surrounded by benches to sit down with friends or study, and in an artificial pond where you can refresh your feet during summer. We hope that those fountains attract more people to gather and chill around with their friends or alone. We will use Rammed Earth to make the canals and the fountains. The water will naturally flow thanks to the natural slope. The fountains will be powered by solar energy
